About Privé Partners
Privé Partners is an independent investment banking and strategic advisory firm advising founders, shareholders, corporates and institutional investors on domestic and cross-border transactions.
Our work spans sell-side and buy-side M&A;, private equity, venture and growth capital, strategic investments, minority and control transactions, private credit, IPO/capital-markets preparation and broader strategic alternatives.
We operate with lean deal teams. Analysts work directly with senior bankers and are expected to contribute meaningfully across live transactions from the outset.
The Role
We are looking for an Analyst with 2–3 years of prior experience in investment banking, M&A;, PE/VC, transaction advisory, corporate finance, valuation or a closely related field.
The successful candidate should already possess strong transaction fundamentals and be capable of taking ownership of analytical and execution work with limited supervision.
Responsibilities will include:
- Building and reviewing financial, operating and transaction models
- DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions, LBO and returns analysis
- Enterprise value/equity value, dilution, cap-table and capital-structure analysis
- Preparing teasers, CIMs, pitchbooks, management presentations and investment materials
- Supporting sell-side and buy-side M&A; processes
- Identifying and evaluating acquisition targets and strategic buyers globally
- Mapping PE, VC, growth-equity, strategic and institutional investors
- Supporting Series A+, growth-capital, PE and strategic-investment transactions
- Analysing term sheets, liquidation preferences, dilution and transaction structures
- Supporting IPO and broader capital-markets readiness work
- Conducting detailed company, sector, competitive and regulatory analysis
- Analysing revenue quality, unit economics, working capital, cohorts and customer concentration
- Managing diligence requests, data rooms, Q&A; processes and transaction trackers
- Supporting structuring, negotiation and execution through signing and closing
Analysts are expected to understand why a transaction should happen, who should participate, how it should be structured and what could prevent it from closing.
Candidate Profile
We are primarily interested in candidates from:
- Investment banking / boutique investment banking
- PE or VC
- Big Four / transaction advisory / deals
- Corporate finance or M&A; advisory
- Valuation
- Corporate development
- Closely related transaction-oriented roles
Strong accounting, valuation and corporate-finance fundamentals are essential.
Candidates must demonstrate advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, solid PowerPoint capability, excellent written English, rigorous attention to detail, commercial judgement and the ability to defend conclusions under scrutiny.
Candidates without relevant professional experience will not be considered.
