Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Network Planning leader to drive offline merchant acquisition and
distribution (Soundbox, EDC, QR, etc.) through data-driven territory design, geo-analytics, and
intelligent capacity planning.
This role will sit at the intersection of business strategy, field execution, and advanced analytics,
ensuring optimal deployment of sales force and devices across geographies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Network & Distribution Planning
● Design and optimize city / cluster / beat-level distribution models for offline merchant
acquisition.
● Define ideal merchant density, device penetration norms, and coverage benchmarks by
micro-market.
● Drive Soundbox, EDC, QR device allocation strategy based on merchant potential and usage
signals.

2. Geo-Spatial & Location Intelligence
● Leverage geo-mapping, geo-tagging, heat maps, and territory intelligence to optimize coverage.
● Build micro-market prioritization frameworks using parameters like footfall, category density,
transaction velocity, and competition presence.




● Use GPS / geo-fencing / location tagging data to improve route planning and field productivity.

3. Data Analytics & Decision Science
● Build and own dashboards and analytical models tracking:
○ Merchant acquisition funnel

○ Device deployment vs utilization
○ Sales productivity & ROI by geography
● Apply advanced analytics / predictive models to:
○ Forecast merchant acquisition potential
○ Identify under-penetrated or over-served markets
○ Improve device ROI and reduce idle inventory
● Drive data-backed decision making for leadership and regional teams.

4. Hashtag / Category / Merchant Tagging
● Create structured merchant taxonomy & tagging frameworks (category, size, transaction
behavior, location).
● Use hashtag / category tagging to enable smarter targeting, campaigns, and device placement.
● Partner with product and tech teams to institutionalize tagging standards across platforms.
