We are looking for a Video Editor who can turn raw footage, ideas, and briefs into engaging, polished video content for brands and social platforms.

Role Overview

The Video Editor will be responsible for editing short-form and long-form video content, primarily for Instagram, YouTube, and other digital platforms.

The ideal candidate understands storytelling, pacing, music, transitions, typography, colour, sound design, and social media trends. You should be able to take a brief and independently develop a strong edit while also being comfortable working with the creative and production team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Video Editing
- Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube videos, advertisements,



promotional videos, event videos, product videos, and campaign content.
- Create engaging edits from raw footage provided by the production team.
- Select the best shots, structure the narrative, and maintain solid pacing.
- Edit talking-head, interview, lifestyle, fashion, beauty, product, event, and commercial content.
- Create multiple versions and aspect ratios for different platforms.

2. Social Media Content
- Stay updated with current Instagram and YouTube trends, formats, editing styles, sounds, hooks, and visual language.
- Understand what makes content engaging within the first few seconds.
- Create edits that are optimised for retention, engagement, and shareability.
- Work with the creative team to develop content specifically for social media rather than simply repurposing traditional videos.
