Job Description

An experienced Senior SAP SD Consultant to lead the design, configuration, and implementation of outbound e-invoicing capabilities for Germany within SAP ECC, from the Sales & Distribution / billing perspective. The role ensures full compliance with the German B2B e-invoicing mandate and supported statutory formats such as XRechnung, ZUGFeRD, and the EN 16931 European standard.

The consultant will focus on the billing and output management side of e-invoicing, ensuring that SD billing documents correctly generate compliant structured invoices, integrate with tax determination, and flow seamlessly to government/exchange platforms or e-invoicing service providers.
- 7+ years of hands-on SAP SD experience, including full lifecycle implementations.
- Strong expertise in SAP ECC SD — billing, pricing, output determination, copy control, and revenue/tax integration (S/4HANA exposure is a plus).
- Deep knowledge of SD output management (condition technique,



output types, IDoc-based output, NAST).
- Proven experience implementing e-invoicing / tax compliance solutions, ideally in the EU / DACH region.
- Working knowledge of German e-invoicing formats: XRechnung, ZUGFeRD, EN 16931.
- Experience with SAP DRC (Document and Reporting Compliance) or equivalent third-party e-invoicing platforms.
- Robust understanding of SD-FI integration, VAT/tax determination, and billing document flow.
- Experience with IDoc, EDI, XML, and interface/middleware technologies.

Preferred
- Knowledge of the PEPPOL network and standards.
- Familiarity with integration like Dell Bhoomi
- Exposure to global e-invoicing mandates (Italy SdI, France, Poland KSeF) for cross-market perspective.
- SAP certification in SD but not mandatory
