Role : Project Manager – S&T; (Signal & Telecommunication)
Purpose : To lead and manage all aspects of Railway S&T; and Telecommunication projects, including planning, execution, coordination, quality assurance, and handover — ensuring timely completion, adherence to RDSO and Railway specifications, and full client satisfaction.
1. Project Planning & Execution
- Plan, schedule, and monitor end-to-end execution of S&T; and Telecom works — including OFC laying, equipment installation, signaling integration, and testing.
- Develop Project Execution Plans, work breakdown structures (WBS), and resource allocation charts.
- Ensure all works (Civil, S&T;, Electrical) are coordinated as per approved design and technical specifications.
- Manage multiple site teams (Engineers, Supervisors, Contractors) for on-time delivery of milestones.

2. Technical & Contractual Management
- Ensure execution in compliance with Railway/RDSO/BSNL telecom standards (RDSO/SPN/TC/55, 68, 80, etc.).
- Review and approve technical drawings, cable routes, and design modifications.




- Handle contractual obligations, scope changes, and variation statements.
- Review and validate joint measurement records, work bills, and material reconciliation.

3. Coordination & Communication
- Liaise with Railway S&T; officials, RailTel, and other stakeholders for joint inspections, permissions, and approvals.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and design teams for material and equipment supply.
- Conduct progress review meetings with client and internal management.
- Prepare weekly/monthly project reports, DPRs, and management presentations.

4. Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to quality control norms, testing standards, and inspection protocols.
- Oversee OTDR testing, link loss validation, and commissioning activities.
- Implement safety management plans and site discipline in accordance with Railway safety rules.
