Role Overview

The SAP TM Technical Principal Lead is responsible for leading the technical architecture, development,



and integration of SAP Transportation Management within S/4HANA or standalone TM. This role leads technical designs, oversees development teams, ensures adherence to development standards, and supports complex enhancements, performance optimization, and interface enablement.

Job Responsibilities

Technical Solution Design & Development Leadership

• Lead end-to-end technical architecture and development for SAP TM (Embedded or 9.6).

• Own WRICEF design (Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) for all TM objects.

• Perform complex development using:

o ABAP OO / BOPF

o CDS Views / AMDP

o Enhancements & BADIs

o TM-specific PPF actions, charge calculation enhancements, optimizer BAdIs

• Build and review technical specifications, code review checklists, and reusable frameworks.

• Lead TM extensibility using SAP BTP, RAP model, and Cloud SDK where applicable.
