About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft SQL Server DBA to manage the installation, configuration, performance, security, availability, and maintenance of SQL Server environments. The role includes supporting Amazon RDS, database migrations, high availability, backup and recovery, and production troubleshooting for mission-critical applications.

Job Description

The role involves administering Microsoft SQL Server across production and non-production environments, including installation, configuration, upgrades, performance monitoring, query optimization, and routine database maintenance. The DBA will work with Amazon RDS and support cloud database administration and monitoring.

The position requires implementing backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies, configuring SQL Server Always On Availability Groups, and supporting database replication and clustering. The candidate will also perform migrations from on-premises SQL Server environments to Amazon RDS.

The DBA will manage database security,



troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, maintain data integrity and compliance, automate administrative activities, and collaborate with development teams on database design and performance improvements. The role also includes production incident support and maintaining technical documentation.

- Administer and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases across production and non-production environments.
- Support and manage cloud databases on Amazon RDS.
