Key Account Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a results-driven Key Account Manager to drive both new business acquisition (Hunting) and growth of existing accounts (Farming) in the digital payments and Payment Gateway space.

The role involves acquiring new merchants/businesses, managing key accounts, driving revenue growth, and building strong relationships with decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

Drive new merchant/client acquisition through prospecting, lead generation, pitching, negotiations, and deal closure.

Manage and grow existing accounts through upselling, cross-selling, renewals, and revenue expansion.

Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers across client organizations.

Understand client payment requirements and recommend suitable Payment Gateway and digital payment solutions.

Own the sales cycle from prospecting to onboarding and account growth.

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets.

Identify new opportunities within existing accounts and increase wallet share.

Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide regular sales forecasts and reports.

Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth merchant onboarding, solution implementation, and issue resolution.

Handle client escalations and ensure a strong customer experience.

Requirements

1-6 years of experience in B2B Sales, Key Account Management, Business Development, or Enterprise Sales, preferably in Fintech, Payments, Payment Gateway, or SaaS.

Proven experience in both hunting and farming, with a track record of acquiring new clients and growing existing accounts.

Strong understanding of sales, negotiation, relationship management, and account expansion.

Valuable understanding of digital payments / Payment Gateway solutions and the merchant ecosystem.
