Marketing & Promotions Assistant

About The Role

RecyclingPartners of Jamaica (RPJ) is looking for a Marketing & Promotions Assistantto join our Marketing & Communications team. In thishands-on role, you'll help bring our community education programmes, corporatecampaigns, and public activation events to life across the island — buildingawareness of plastic bottle (PET and HDPE) recovery under our “Put Plastic inits Place” banner. You'll work closely with our Marketing, Sponsorship &Public; Relations Executive and report to the Head of Marketing.

What You'll Do

Plan and manage RPJ's social media channels — content calendar,posting, community replies, and performance reporting
Support traditional media campaigns across radio, TV, print, andoutdoor
Help run community clean-ups, school recycling programmes, green expos,and drop-off site activations, from set-up to pack-down
Track promotional stock and event equipment,



and coordinate venues,volunteers, and transport for outreach activities
Capture photos, video, and attendance data at events, and supportsponsor branding and reporting
Provide general administrative support to the marketing team

What We're Looking For

Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, BusinessAdministration, or a related field
Internship, volunteer, or work experience in marketing or events is anadvantage
Comfortable using social media platforms professionally, not justpersonally
Explicit speaker and writer,comfortable engaging Jamaican audiences and media
Confident with MS Office, andbasic design software such as Canva
Organised, detail-oriented, andable to keep events running smoothly under pressure
Willing to travel to parishesacross the island for field work and community events
A genuine interest in recyclingand environmental sustainability is a bonus
