n● 2-10 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role:
nProven track record of designing and implementing data solutions on Google Cloud
nPlatform.
nAs a Data Engineer at Randstad, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and
nmaintaining our data infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. You will work closely with our business
nintelligence, engineering, and business teams to ensure that our data is collected, stored, processed,
nand analyzed effectively, enabling us to make informed decisions and drive impactful outcomes.
nWhat a typical day at work would look like?
n● Collaborate with stakeholders: Engage in discussions with business users, BI
nanalysts, data engineers to understand their data needs and translate them into
ntechnical solutions.
n● Design and implement data pipelines: Architect and build data pipelines using GCP
nservices like Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Dataproc, and BigQuery to ensure productive data
ningestion, transformation, and delivery.
n● Develop data models:



Design and implement data models in BigQuery, considering
nperformance, scalability, and security requirements.
n● Manage and optimize data storage: Manage data storage on Google Cloud Storage,
noptimizing for cost-efficiency and performance.
n● Ensure data quality: Implement data validation and quality checks throughout the data
npipeline to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
n● Troubleshoot and resolve issues: Diagnose and solve complex data-related issues, ensuring
nsmooth data flow and optimal performance.
n● Stay updated on GCP advancements: Keep abreast of the latest Google Cloud Platform
nofferings and best practices to continually enhance our data solutions.
nYour Key Knowledge Areas shall be:
