NEligibility: MCh Urology / DNB Urology only. Registered with State Medical Council / NMC.
NAbout the role:
NYou will run structured teleconsultations for patients who are already on one or more urology medications BPH therapy (alpha-blockers, 5-ARIs), overactive bladder agents, chronic UTI prophylaxis, post-stone / post-procedure regimens, ED / LUTS combinations, and similar chronic urology prescriptions.
NMost cases are refills, dose reviews, tolerability checks and short follow-ups on an existing urology plan. Your job is to confirm the patient is stable on their current regimen, screen for red flags, and continue, adjust or refer as clinically appropriate.




NThis is not a new-patientwork-up role and it is not a transactional refill counter. Specialist judgment is expected on every case.

- Review the patient's existing urology prescription, dose, duration on therapy and prescribing urologist's notes (where available) before speaking. N
- Confirm ongoing symptomcontrol LUTS pattern, urgency/frequency, nocturia, flow, incontinence episodes, stone-pain recurrence, post-op recovery as relevant to the drug in use. N
- Check tolerability and side-effects specific to the drug class (orthostatic symptoms on alpha-blockers, sexual side-effects on 5-ARIs, dry mouth / constipation on anticholinergics, cognitive effects in the elderly, etc.). N
- Verify latest relevant investigations where the therapy demands it PSA trend on 5-ARI, renal function on any nephrotoxic combination, urine culture history on recurrent-UTI prophylaxis, post-void residual context, etc. N
