Purpose of the role

Acuity Analytics is currently looking for an individual to play a key role in supporting private markets team. The individual will play a key role in supporting a global investment firm by acting as an extended team member, assisting in due diligence and preparation of investment memorandums for private equity, private credit, and evergreen funds

Responsibilities

Preparing investment memorandums & document reviews of investment opportunities from client due diligence documents like PPM, presentations, teasers, executive summaries etc.
Creation of PPM data such as fund personnel, fund terms, investment strategy and process, investment highlights & risks
Creation of financial matrices including Revenue, EBITDA, Net Debt etc.
Created and updated quarterly / annual firm and fund track record and attribution analysis using due-diligence materials




Creation of underlying fund returns using annual meeting decks and quarterly reports
Derived historical fund and firm returns and sourced relevant data out of huge pile of data files
Drafting annual meeting reviews

Specific Skill Set Requirements

MBA or other Post-Graduate or Qualified Degree from a reputed Institute
Basic knowledge and understanding of Private Equity, Fund of Funds and Financial Services Industry (FSI) trends
Knowledge of MS Office with strong skills in MS Word and MS Excel
Knowledge of databases including CapIQ, Preqin is an added advantage
Ability to take complete ownership and deliver the projects as per client requirements and timeline
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to conduct high-quality project-level conversations with clients
