Job Description & Key Responsibilities

Hotel Kitchen Equipment Specialist or Kitchen Technician maintains, operates, repairs, and sanitizes specialized commercial kitchen machinery and heavy equipment to ensure protected and continuous hotel food service operations.

Equipment Operation & Monitoring: Safely operate heavy-duty cooking, baking, and processing machinery (such as industrial mixers, combi ovens, and dishwashing systems).
Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections, lubricate moving parts, test electrical connections, and calibrate thermostats on specialized heating and cooling units.
Troubleshooting & Repairs:



Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, or plumbing failures in complex machinery like walk-in freezers, steam cookers, and ice-makers.
Sanitation & Safety Compliance: Deep-clean specialized apparatus (grease traps, exhaust hoods, and fryer vats) to meet strict health and fire safety codes.
Inventory & Spare Parts Management: Monitor stock levels for replacement parts, belts, valves, and specialized cleaning chemicals.
