General Manager – Finance & Accounts
Experience: 6–8 Years (Post CA Qualification)
Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced General Manager – Finance & Accounts to lead the core accounting, taxation, compliance and financial control function at Pidge.
The role will have end-to-end ownership of accounting, book closure, financial statements, GST, TDS, income tax, statutory compliances, audits, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations and financial controls.
The ideal candidate should be a Chartered Accountant with robust hands-on accounting and taxation experience, capable of independently managing the finance and accounts function in a high-growth organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Book Closure
Own end-to-end accounting and ensure accuracy and completeness of books of accounts.
Lead monthly, quarterly and annual book closure within defined timelines.
Review general ledger, journal entries, provisions, accruals and accounting schedules.
Ensure accurate accounting of revenue, expenses, assets,



liabilities and provisions.
Own balance-sheet reconciliations and ensure timely closure of outstanding items.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and accounting policies.
Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules.
GST & Indirect Taxation
Own end-to-end GST compliance across applicable registrations.
Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and other applicable returns.
Manage GST reconciliations, input tax credit and vendor compliance.
Reconcile GST returns with books of accounts and resolve mismatches.
Manage GST notices, assessments, queries and other departmental matters in coordination with consultants wherever required.
Stay updated on changes in GST regulations and ensure timely implementation.
TDS & Direct Taxation
Ensure accurate deduction, deposit and reporting of TDS across applicable sections.
