Role Description The Computer Aided Design (CAD) Designer will create accurate solar design drawings and documentation that support residential and commercial solar installations. In this full-time remote role, the designer will produce site plans, roof layouts,



string layouts, single-line diagrams, equipment elevations, and structural details in line with company standards and local code requirements. Daily responsibilities include translating engineering inputs into accurate CAD models, updating construction drawings based on feedback from engineers and project managers, and ensuring all design packages are complete for permitting and utility interconnection. The designer will collaborate with engineering and operations teams, maintain organized project files, and support continuous improvement of design templates and workflows to enhance efficiency and quality.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills with experience in solar, electrical, or structural design tools.
