Manager / Senior Manager – Business Development & Commercial (C&I;) South

Drive business growth for the Commercial & Industrial (C&I;) renewable energy portfolio across South India by identifying recent opportunities, building customer relationships, negotiating commercial agreements, and supporting end-to-end project closure for solar, wind, hybrid, RTC, and open-access power solutions.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development

Develop and execute growth strategies for C&I; renewable energy business across South India.
Identify and acquire new customers in manufacturing, automotive, pharma, data centers, IT parks, and other energy-intensive sectors.
Generate and maintain a strong pipeline of Open Access, Group Captive, and Captive power opportunities.
Build strategic relationships with CXOs, energy procurement teams, consultants, and industry associations.

Commercial & Power Sales

Lead commercial discussions and proposal submissions for renewable energy solutions.




Develop competitive tariff structures and commercial models aligned with customer requirements.
Negotiate PPAs, Energy Supply Agreements, Group Captive structures, and related commercial contracts.
Coordinate with legal, finance, tax, and regulatory teams for deal structuring and closure.

Market Intelligence & Regulatory Analysis

Monitor state-wise regulatory developments affecting open access, banking, wheelings, CSS, and related policies.
Analyze competitor offerings, market trends, and pricing benchmarks.
Identify emerging opportunities in green power procurement and sustainability-driven initiatives.

Financial & Business Evaluation

Prepare business cases, commercial evaluations, and financial models for investment decisions.
Assess project viability, customer creditworthiness, and commercial risks.
Support management presentations and approvals for new opportunities.
