Position: Senior Executive/ Asst Manager – Sales & Back-End Support
Segment: Automotive – Cable & Harness
Location: Pune
Reporting To: Head – Automotive / Sales & Marketing
Role Purpose
To support the growth of the Automotive Cable & Harness business by managing customer relationships, sales coordination, order execution, commercial follow-up, and back-end support for key automotive customers, particularly in the Pune region.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Customer Management
- Manage day-to-day communication with key automotive customers and OEMs.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships and identify new business opportunities.
- Follow up on RFQs, enquiries, quotations, samples, trials, and customer approvals.
- Coordinate with customers for new cable and harness development projects.
- Track business opportunities from enquiry stage through order conversion.

2. Back-End Sales Support
- Coordinate internally with Design, Engineering, Production, Quality,



SCM and Finance teams for customer requirements.
- Prepare and maintain quotations, order status, customer MIS and sales reports.
- Monitor purchase orders, order amendments, dispatches and delivery schedules.
- Ensure timely submission of technical and commercial documents to customers.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and support collection activities.

3. Cable & Harness Business Support
- Develop positive understanding of automotive cables, LV/HV cables and wire/cable harnesses.
- Coordinate sample development, testing, validation and customer approvals.
- Support harness costing, BOM preparation and commercial negotiations.
- Track customer-specific specifications, drawings and technical requirements.
- Coordinate prototype and pre-production requirements with the manufacturing and engineering teams.

4. Business Development
- Identify new opportunities with Automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers and EV m
