Role Description The SOLR – Search & JAVA Expert will design, develop, and optimize search solutions using Apache Solr and Java for high-traffic,



enterprise-scale digital commerce platforms. In this full-time remote role, the expert will implement search features such as relevance tuning, faceted search, autocomplete, and personalization, while ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability. Day-to-day work includes analyzing search requirements, building and maintaining Solr schemas, configuring indexes, integrating search services with microservices and APIs, and troubleshooting search-related issues. The role involves collaborating with product managers, data and cloud engineers, and front-end teams to deliver high-quality search experiences aligned with business goals. The expert will also monitor search metrics, perform keyword and usage analysis, and continuously improve search algorithms and relevance models.
