Job Summary
As a Supplier Quality Manager in our semiconductor backend assembly and test manufacturing operations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of components sourced from external suppliers. You will be responsible for supplier evaluation, development, and ongoing performance management to uphold the highest quality standards and minimize risks to manufacturing operations. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams and suppliers to resolve quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supplier Evaluation and Selection
- Conduct thorough assessments of potential suppliers to evaluate capabilities, quality management systems, and adherence to industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and qualify suppliers that meet company quality and performance requirements.
2. Quality Assurance
- Develop and implement quality assurance programs and procedures to monitor and maintain the quality of incoming components.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track supplier quality performance and drive continuous improvement.
3. Supplier Development
- Work closely with suppliers to resolve quality issues, drive corrective actions, and implement preventive measures.
