Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled and proactive Network Engineer to join our growing IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our network infrastructure to ensure the optimal performance and security of our organization's systems and services.The Network Engineer will work closely with other IT professionals to support our network operations, optimize performance, and resolve technical issues while adhering to best practices for network security and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Design & Implementation:
- Plan, design, and implement local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and cloud-based network solutions.
- Configure and deploy routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and other network devices.
- Participate in network architecture planning, scaling, and optimization efforts.
- Network Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
- Monitor and maintain network performance, ensuring reliability, availability, and speed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues (e.g., connectivity,



performance degradation, hardware failures).
- Perform regular network assessments to identify and address any vulnerabilities or inefficiencies.
- Security Management:
- Implement and maintain network security protocols such as VPNs, firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and intrusion prevention systems (IPS).
- Apply security patches and updates to network devices, and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Assist with the investigation and resolution of security incidents.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain detailed documentation for network configurations, diagrams, troubleshooting procedures, and other technical specifications.
- Create and update network monitoring and performance reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
