The Senior Accounts Officer – Investment Finance will support the Finance Manager and Senior Investment Accountants in preparing investment accounting reports, financial statements, and audits. This role requires collaboration with auditors, lenders, investors, and internal teams to ensure compliance with IFRS and lender requirements across UK and European property portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Accounting
- Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting packs, including balance sheet schedules and profit & loss commentary.
- Review and validate workbooks from property accountants, challenge discrepancies, adjust, and post journal entries.
- Conduct monthly consolidations across multi-property portfolios (Student and PRS special purpose vehicles).




- Prepare complete IFRS financial statements, both consolidated and standalone.
- Perform covenant testing for debt, including Loan-to-Value (LTV) and Interest Coverage Ratio (ICR).

Investor & Compliance Reporting
- Develop investor reporting tables, charts, and consolidated budget variance analyses.
- Ensure compliance with lender and investor reporting requirements, including structure agreements.
- Prepare quarterly VAT returns and annual tax computations for offshore holding entities.
- Assist in annual budgeting and re-forecasting.
