• Deep understanding of CI Class Manager, Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE), and CMDB Health.
• Experience with Discovery, Service Mapping, Service Graph Connectors, and Data Certification.
• Experience defining CI lifecycle stages and governance processes.
• Solid understanding of Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
• Experience implementing Business Applications, Business Services, Application Services, Technical Services, and Service Offerings.
• Ability to map infrastructure CIs to business services and align CMDB structures with ServiceNow best practices.
• Understanding of service portfolios, ownership models, and service hierarchy design.
• Experience configuring and extending CI classes.
• Knowledge of class inheritance, relationships, identifiers, reconciliation definitions, and data models.
• Understanding of server, network, cloud, application, database,



and endpoint CI classes.
• Experience defining class standards, attributes, and governance controls
• Understanding of Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM).
• Knowledge of procurement, deployment, maintenance, warranty, refresh, and retirement processes.
• Experience maintaining asset-CI relationships and supporting lifecycle compliance.
• Familiarity with software licensing, asset reconciliation, inventory management, and audit requirements
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Discovery
• ServiceNow Data Foundations (CMDB & CSDM) Certification
