Turium AI is seeking an experienced Scrum Master / Business Analyst to support a major data and analytics program within a large Australian Federal Government department.
This is a 6–12 month contract with a robust focus on providing full-time Scrum Master and project delivery support for the Data project, while also providing Business Analyst support to the Analytics team, including requirements gathering, process analysis and documentation.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, data and analytics teams, technical teams and delivery partners to support Agile delivery, translate business needs into clear requirements and ensure project activities continue to progress across the delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Provide full-time Scrum Master support for the Data project, supporting day-to-day project delivery and Agile ways of working.




Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews and retrospectives.
Support sprint planning, backlog management and tracking of project deliverables.
Work closely with delivery teams to identify and remove blockers and maintain delivery momentum.
Track project schedules, milestones, actions, dependencies, risks and issues.
Maintain RAID registers, action logs, status reports and governance documentation.
Provide Business Analyst support to the Analytics team, with a particular focus on requirements and documentation.
Engage with business, data, analytics and technical stakeholders to understand business needs, processes and requirements.
Facilitate workshops, interviews and requirements-gathering sessions.
Develop and maintain business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps and supporting documentation.
