Job Summary:
The CIM Equipment Automation Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting automation systems for semiconductor manufacturing operations. This role involves implementing robust CIM solutions, integrating equipment via SECS/GEM protocols, maintaining operational reliability, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and quality teams.
Key Responsibilities:
CIM System Design & Development
- Develop and maintain automation systems, including Transport Systems, Recipe Management, Remote Control Systems, Live Equipment Monitoring, and Fault Detection & Classification.
- Collaborate with fab teams, operations users, and partners to implement robust CIM solutions through quality coding and testing.
- Integrate semiconductor equipment with customized protocols (SECS/GEM) through communication hosts.
- Parse equipment data to extract relevant process and operational information supporting backend engineering systems.
Operational Support & Maintenance
- Monitor and maintain hardware and software systems to ensure high uptime and reliability of CIM-related tools.
- Manage database transactions and Oracle packages for data management and performance tuning.
- Track equipment performance, ensuring availability of data
