Key Responsibilities:
Security Testing & Assessment:
- Conduct security evaluation and threat assessments of embedded systems, mobile applications, web applications, and cloud services.
- Perform white-box and black-box penetration testing.
- Circumvent security protections, monitor data buses, and perform data injection.
- Analyze communication protocols and wireless channels.
- Reverse engineer complex systems and protocols to identify vulnerabilities.

Documentation & Reporting:
- Create detailed technical reports and proof-of-concept code to document findings.
- Plan testing activities, resources, and testing requirements prior to execution.
- Provide proactive status updates and detailed analysis to engineering teams.
- Maintain effective GitLab issue management and mentor junior resources.

Process & Compliance:
- Adhere to VERTIV SECURE requirements, Vulnerability Management, and Incident Response processes.




- Assist in enhancing internal testing processes, methodologies, and procedures.
- Support security incident response based on newly disclosed vulnerabilities.

Collaboration & Leadership:
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure compliance with security expectations.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior testers.
- Influence and implement security improvements within a agile global environment.

Technical Research & Innovation:
- Research new vulnerabilities and enhance testing capabilities.
- Apply functional analysis, memory image capture, static memory analysis, and data extraction techniques.
- Contribute technical expertise to the development lifecycle of applications, products, or services.
