- SAS GRID On Prem/ SAS Viya Admin Operations Support.
- Around 5-6 years of experience in SAS GRID 9.4 and SAS Viya 4.0 operations.
- Handling of day-to-day operations in SAS GRID and Viya Platforms.
- Act as a SAS subject matter expert and liaison to SAS users and IT.
- Proficient in SAS Tools - Management Console, SAS Deployment Manager & SAS Deployment Wizard . Proficient in SAS Environment Manager, Grafana, ESM and Open Search Dash boards .
- Preferrable AWS and Kubernetes deployments in SAS environments . Designs, implements, and maintains platform security via SAS Metadata, Linux operating systems, LDAP/Active Directory, and data warehousing environments.
- Provides support for multiple SAS clusters for development, QA, production, and disaster recovery. . Performing Periodic SAS Servers Maintenance Activities and apply hotfixes . Troubleshooting of user issues / DB connections/vulnerability eliminations/storage fixes, etc .
- Performs SAS software administration; including software configuration, updates, patches,



and hotfixes and license renewals as needed on Linux / Redhat (RHEL) platforms.
- Provides SAS Viya Platform capacity planning, metrics and performance tuning recommendations.
- Creation of current DB connections to data sources, define libraries, and create metadata objects and folder structures .
- Perform Back up and recovery activities . Scheduling/monitoring/Fixing of jobs. . Troubleshooting of existing DB connections failures and perform RCA analysis .
- Serves as an escalation point for production and/or platform issues and acts as lead liaison with SAS Technical Support to resolve outstanding issues within the SAS environments.
- Collaborates with storage, server, LDAP, database and other IT administrators to support ongoing operations for meeting the business needs via the SAS environment.
- Provides on call production support through a rotation schedule.
