- Carry out surface preparation of machine parts to achieve proper surface finish.
- Carry out spray painting of these parts as per the standard procedure and maintain the required DFT.
- Ensure masking is done properly on the sub
- parts, as applicable.
- Carry out sanding process of the surface to ensure proper finishing/ removal of old paint, as applicable.
- Application of putty on the surface to maintain the surface finish.
- Maintain clean work area,



properly use and take care of workplace, ensure work safety & use safe techniques and responsible for on-the-job safety practice.
- Perform other duties assigned by Workshop Manager/Team Leader.
- Participate in Kaizens.
- Maintain daily records of the activities.
- Participate in housekeeping, 5S activities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITIES
- ITI in any discipline with around 3-5 years of experience in surface preparation, painting of Mining/Construction machines.
- Handling of DFT meter, Gloss meter etc.
- Thorough knowledge on steps involved and resources used in painting work.
- Detail Oriented, Good communication ability both verbal and in writing.
- Effective interpersonal skills, Team Player with high integrity and professionalism
