The Driver will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles to transport goods, materials, and staff as required. The role demands punctuality, responsibility, and strict adherence to traffic rules and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles (car/van/tempo as applicable).
- Pick up and drop off staff, materials, or documents as per schedule.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to clients, vendors, or company branches.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness (interior and exterior).
- Conduct daily vehicle inspection and report any issues immediately.
- Monitor and maintain fuel levels, mileage logs, and service records.
- Follow all traffic rules, safety practices, and company protocols.
- Coordinate with admin/logistics team for daily routes and tasks.
- Assist in loading/unloading materials when required.
- Ensure proper handling and security of company property while driving.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-5 years of driving experience.
- Valid driving license for LMV/Commercial vehicle (as per requirement).
- Good knowledge of local routes, traffic rules, and regulations.
- Ability to drive safely under various road and weather conditions.
- Good communication and professional behaviour.
- Physically fit and alert.
- Willingness to work flexible schedule, overtime, and weekends if required.
