Job Summary:
The English Teacher is responsible for teaching English language and literature to students from Grades 3 to 8 in accordance with the CBSE curriculum and school standards. The teacher must foster strong reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills while creating an engaging and supportive classroom environment that promotes academic excellence and communication confidence.

Key Responsibilities:Academic Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver English lessons as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessment materials.
- Teach grammar, literature, reading comprehension, creative writing, vocabulary, and spoken English.
- Encourage reading habits and language development through interactive teaching methods.
- Evaluate and monitor student progress through regular classwork, tests, projects, and examinations.
- Maintain records of attendance, marks, and academic performance.
- Identify students requiring additional academic support and provide remedial teaching where necessary.




- Prepare students for internal assessments, periodic tests, and annual examinations.

Classroom Management:
- Maintain discipline and a positive and inclusive learning workplace in the classroom.
- Encourage student participation, communication, and critical thinking.
- Foster confidence in public speaking, presentations, and language expression.
- Ensure student safety and well-being during school hours.

Administrative Responsibilities:
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, workshops, and parent-teacher meetings.
- Coordinate with other teachers and academic staff for smooth curriculum delivery.
- Maintain student records and submit reports as required by the school management.
- Assist in school events, literary activities, debates, competitions, and cultural programs.

Communication & Professional Conduct:
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and academic concerns.
- Work collaboratively
