Responsibilities
- Understand learning objectives, instructional flow, and project briefs to create engaging and learner-friendly video content.
- Review scripts, storyboards, voiceovers, raw footage, and reference materials to ensure smooth instructional storytelling.
- Edit eLearning videos including explainer videos, demonstrations, simulations, role-plays, training videos, and educational content.
- Trim and organise footage to create transparent, engaging, and easy-to-understand learning experiences for vocational and professional learners.
- Add music, voiceovers, subtitles, onscreen text, graphics, animations, transitions, callouts, and visual effects to enhance learner engagement and retention.
- Ensure proper continuity, pacing, scene flow, audio clarity, and visual consistency throughout the learning videos.
- Coordinate with instructional designers, content writers, SMEs, graphic designers, animators, and production teams during the post-production process.
- Create rough cuts, review versions, and final outputs as per project timelines and quality standards.




- Optimise videos for LMS, SCORM-based learning platforms, YouTube, social media, and digital learning ecosystems.
- Maintain organised project files, version control, and backup systems for efficient workflow management.
- Continuously explore modern editing styles, AI tools, motion graphics trends, and learning video best practices to improve quality and efficiency.

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Video Editor, preferably in eLearning, educational, training, or instructional video projects.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Good understanding of instructional video editing, learner engagement, pacing, and educational storytelling techniques.
- Ability to edit videos with proper sync between voiceover, visuals, animations, graphics, and onscreen text.
