Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor large diesel generators (DG sets) safely and efficiently.
Start/stop DG sets as per power requirement and emergency situations.
Check daily parameters: voltage, current, frequency, oil pressure, coolant temperature, fuel level.
Perform routine inspection of engine, alternator, battery, radiator, and control panel.
Maintain logbook for running hours, fuel consumption, and maintenance records.
Coordinate with electrical/maintenance team during breakdowns.
Ensure timely diesel filling and monitor fuel stock.
Identify abnormal noise, leakage, overheating, or faults and report immediately.
Carry out basic preventive maintenance and assist service engineers during major maintenance.




Follow all safety procedures while handling DG equipment.

Requirements:
Experience in operating high-capacity DG sets (e.g., 250 kVA / 500 kVA / above).
Basic knowledge of electrical panels, AMF panel, and troubleshooting.
ITI / Diploma in electrical or mechanical preferred.
Ability to work in shifts and during emergency power failures.

Minimum Qualification: ITI / Diploma in electrical or mechanical preferred

Minimum Job Experience: Experience in operating high-capacity DG sets (e.g., 250 kVA / 500 kVA / above)
