Job Summary
Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Work
- Maintain and repair electrical systems, motors, panels, wiring, and factory machines.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and minimize machine downtime.
- Perform preventive maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Check and maintain power supply, MCC panels, breakers, and control systems.
- Ensure electrical safety standards are followed inside the factory.
Fitting & Mechanical Work
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and mechanical parts.
- Perform fitting, alignment, welding support, and machine assembly work.
- Handle pipe fitting, bearing replacement, gearbox maintenance, and conveyor maintenance.
- Assist in breakdown maintenance and emergency repair work.
General Responsibilities
- Maintain maintenance records and daily work reports.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for smooth operations.
- Ensure proper use of tools and safety equipment.
- Follow company SOPs and safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and discipline in the work area.
Requirements:
- ITI / Diploma in Electrician, Fitter, or related trade.
- 2-5 years of experience in têxtile or manufacturing industry preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial electrical systems and machinery maintenance.
- Ability to work in shifts and handle urgent breakdowns.
- Basic understanding of safety practices and preventive maintenance.
