Overview

Duties
- Develop detailed PCB layouts based on electrical schematics, ensuring optimal component placement and routing for performance and manufacturability
- Collaborate with electrical engineers and system designers to refine PCB designs that meet project specifications and industry standards
- Utilize CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, Creo, Bluebeam, NavisWorks, and System design software to create accurate layout diagrams
- Ensure compliance with electrical wiring standards such as NEC (National Electrical Code) and industry best practices for safety and reliability
- Generate detailed fabrication and assembly documentation, including schematics, layer stack-ups, and manufacturing files
- Conduct design reviews and simulations to verify signal integrity, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and thermal management
- Support construction teams by providing clear drawings and instructions for PCB integration within larger electrical systems

Qualifications




- Proven experience in PCB design with a strong understanding of layout design principles for electrical systems
- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, Creo, Bluebeam, NavisWorks, and other relevant tools
- Knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals, including schematics development and system design
- Familiarity with electrical wiring standards, such as NEC and best practices in electrical safety
- Experience 1 year to 4 years working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical wiring diagrams, and system integration
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and translate them into precise PCB layouts suitable for manufacturing
- Solid communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams involved in construction and system deployment
