General Job Purpose
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in a QC role within paint, coatings, or chemical manufacturing.
- Knowledge of Paint formulation, pigment dispersion, and performance testing.
- Familiarity with ASTM, BIS, or ISO testing standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office and lab data management systems.
- Excellent attention to detail, documentation skills, and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and non-routine testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished paint products.
- Verify batch conformity using standard methods such as viscosity, density, gloss, adhesion, drying time, color matching, Paint film defect & film parameters.
- Operate and maintain lab instruments such as spectrophotometers, viscometers, pH meters, Gas Chromatography & Paint physical testing equipment
- Perform calibration and preventive maintenance as per SOPs
- Record test results accurately in lab notebooks and digital systems (e.g., LIMS, SAP).




- Prepare Certificates of Analysis (CoA), deviation reports, and customer-facing quality summaries.
- Ensure adherence to ISO standards, environmental regulations, and internal quality protocols.

Maintain a clean and safe laboratory setting, following PPE and chemical handling guidelines
