Responsible for managing end-to-end supply chain operations in a manufacturing environment, including procurement, production planning, inventory control, logistics, and vendor coordination to ensure productive and cost-effective operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Demand & Production Planning
- Forecast demand based on sales data and market trends
- Develop production plans aligned with capacity and material availability
- Coordinate with production teams to meet delivery timelines
2. Procurement & Vendor Management
- Source raw materials and components
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and evaluate performance
3. Inventory Management
- Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking
- Implement inventory control systems (FIFO, safety stock, etc.)
- Conduct regular audits and reconciliation
4. Logistics & Distribution
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics
- Optimize transportation and warehouse operations
- Ensure timely delivery to customers or distribution centers

- Identify inefficiencies and implement cost-saving initiatives
- Improve supply chain processes using data and analytics
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
6. Cross-functional Coordination
- Work with production, sales, finance, and quality teams
- Align supply chain activities with business goals
Required Skills:

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field
- MBA (preferred for managerial roles)
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing supply chain
