Responsibilities include diagnosing electrical/mechanical faults, performing routine maintenance, cleaning components, and ensuring compliance with safety standards to optimize system performance and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Installation & Setup: Installing new HVAC units, ductwork, and electrical wiring, often reading blueprints to ensure correct layout. Maintenance & Cleaning: Performing regular maintenance (cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, replacing filters) to maximize system lifespan. Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnosing faults using specialized tools, repairing or replacing defective components like compressors, motors, and capacitors. Safety & Compliance: Adhering to safety protocols, building codes, and EPA regulations (e.g., proper handling of refrigerant).
