Role Overview

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and analytical Fashion Merchandiser to oversee production coordination and material accounting. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless alignment between design, production, and delivery by maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring factory expenses, and ensuring production timelines and budgets are effectively managed.

Key Responsibilities

1. Material Accounting & Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate records of fabrics, trims, and accessories.
- Monitor material consumption and analyze variances, including wastage and discrepancies.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of issued versus utilized materials.

2. Costing & Expense Control
- Track daily factory expenses and overheads with precision.
- Assist in preparing detailed and accurate cost sheets for recent and ongoing orders.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.

3. Production Monitoring & Reporting




- Maintain and update daily Work-in-Progress (WIP) reports.
- Track production status to ensure adherence to timelines and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with production teams to resolve bottlenecks and ensure smooth workflow.

4. Vendor & Supplier Coordination
- Manage vendor accounts, including procurement and payment tracking.
- Coordinate with local suppliers for trims, threads, packaging, and other materials.
- Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production delays.

Education:
- Degree or Diploma in Fashion Merchandising or a related field.

Experience:
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in a garment factory, manufacturing unit, or export house.

Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and data analysis).
