Raw Material Inspection
- Perform incoming inspection of raw materials such as plates, pipes, flanges, fittings, and welding consumables.as per ASME Section II and other applicable standard
- Verify Material Test Certificate (MTC) and ensure compliance with purchase order and specification.
- Check material identification, heat number, and traceability.
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspection of incoming materials.

2. In-Process Inspection (Setup & Orientation)
- Verify Vessel/tank/column/and column internal setup before fabrication and welding activities.
- Perform PMI of raw material before welding and after welding of component
- Ensure correct orientation and alignment of shell, nozzle, flange, and other components as per drawings.
- Check fit-up, joint preparation, bevel angle, and root gap before welding.
- Verify dimensional after welding, fit-up, and assembly.
- Monitor fabrication sequence and workmanship during production.
- Identify and report deviations during fabrication.

3. Welding & Fabrication Inspection
- Ensure welding is performed as per approved WPS / PQR.




- Monitor welding parameters and consumables usage.
- Inspect weld joints visually before, during, and after welding.
- Verify interpass cleaning and welding sequence.
- Ensure welder qualification validity.
- Witness weld repair activities if required.

4. NDT Inspection & Coordination
- Conduct or coordinate Non-Destructive Testing (NDT):
- RT - Radiographic Testing
- UT - Ultrasonic Testing
- LPT - Liquid Penetrant Testing
- MT - Magnetic Particle Testing
- Review NDT reports and ensure acceptance criteria compliance.
- Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies (TPI).
- Raise NCR (Non-Conformance Report) for defects if required.

5. Final Inspection & Testing
- Perform final dimensional inspection of completed vessels/Tank/column internals’ as per GAD.
- Witness pressure testing:
- Hydrostatic test
- Pneumatic test
- Verify nameplate details and documentation before dispatch.
