Position Summary:
A Store Officer is responsible for the productive management of store operations, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, issuance, and record-keeping of all materials, consumables, spare parts and finished goods used across Jindal India Ltd facilities. The role supports production, procurement and logistics functions by maintaining optimal inventory levels and accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory & Stock Management: Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials against purchase orders.
- Organise and store goods in correct locations with proper labelling and categorisation.
- Issue materials to departments on approved requisitions and update records accordingly.
- Perform periodic physical stock checks and cycle counting to ensure stock accuracy.
- Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records in store registers or inventory systems.
- Prepare and maintain goods inward/outward documentation (e.g., delivery challans, GRNs, issue slips).
- Report stock discrepancies, damaged goods,



or obsolete inventory to supervisors.
- Coordination & Communication: Coordinate daily with procurement, production, stores manager, and accounts for smooth operations.
- Ensure all materials received meet quality specifications before acceptance.
- Communicate re-order requirements and assist in inventory forecasting to prevent stockouts.
- Liaise with suppliers and transport teams for timely delivery and receipt of materials.
- Quality, Safety & Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety standards within the store area.
- Follow company policies for storage handling, safe stacking, and loss prevention.
- Reporting: Generate regular inventory status and stock movement reports for management review.
- Assist internal and external audits by providing required inventory data.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Logistics, Business, Commerce, or related field.
