Fashion Designer (Fabric & Design Focus)

nWe're a design-led luxury consumer brand looking for a fashion designer to help shape our first product line from concept through to production-ready specs (soft toy brand not apparels)

nAny one who has knowledge on fabrics & designing fashion products from scratch can apply
n

nWhat you'll do:
n

- n
- Design product silhouette, form, and construction from concept sketches to technical flatsn
- Recommend and source fabric evaluating options - only premium fibersn
- Translate brand colour direction into exact, production-ready references (Pantone or supplier-matched)n
- Prepare manufacturer-ready spec sheets/tech packs measurements, materials, construction notes, colour codesn
- Provide fabric swatches and physical samples for review before any material is committed to productionn

nWhat we're looking for:

- n
- Extremely strong hands-on knowledge of fabric types, behaviour, durability,



seam/construction techniquesn
- Experience on soft goods, apparel, or textile-based product design on softwares. (Flow - Sketch (Illustrator or hand-drawn) → drape/simulate (CLO3D, optional) → fabric selection → pattern draft (Lectra, Optitex, or hand-drafted) → toile/muslin test → manufacturer spec sheet. Any alternative software works too but concept will remain same)n
- Someone who can design products from scratch perfectly not just tweak existing designsn
- Someone who can translate ideas into versatile designs on any preferred digital softwaresn
- Comfortable working from a brand brief and design guidelines, translating direction into finished specsn
- Optional: Solid pattern-making ability, translating a 3D form into accurate, production-ready flat patterns (seam allowance, stuffing volume, fabric grain/pile direction) that hold shape once sewn and stuffed.)n
