Create, review, and revise detailed AutoCAD drawings for Engineering projects, ensuring compliance with standards and specifications.
- Produce 2D and 3D CAD drawings for geotechnical projects such as foundations, retaining walls, earthworks, tunnels, slopes, ground improvement, etc.
- Prepare site plans, trial pit logs, borehole logs, and geotechnical cross‑sections.
- Assist engineers by preparing geotechnical profiles, sections, and geological models.
- Collaborate with project engineers and designers to gather requirements, clarify project specifications, and ensure accurate representation of design intent.
- Maintain drawing accuracy, quality, and consistency by adhering to organizational and regulatory standards.
- Update, organize, and manage drawing files, ensuring all documentation is accessible and up to date.
- Identify and communicate potential design issues, proposing solutions to ensure optimal project delivery.
- Assist in developing and refining AutoCAD workflows to improve efficiency and standardization within the team.
- Familiarity with geotechnical terminology
- Familiar with Upload/update drawings in Common Data Environments (CDE) like ProjectWise, BIM360, ACC, etc
- Must complete a high-quality self-check of own work with efficiency. Shall follow internal QC processes.
- Perform review of engineering drawings, as per markups made by the Checkers. Verify to ensure drawings modifications are accurately and correctly conducted.
- Reporting progress of work assignment to immediate supervisor. Understands the project schedule and budget requirements.
- Communicate with internal peers and project team and required to answer questions regarding deliverables.
- Capable of multi-tasking and managing multiple projects with the ability to accurately predict the time required to fulfil the individual scopes of work required.
- Be able to perform Material Take-Offs with CAD tool and excel.
- Actively participate in the design and provide input to the design
