QA Engineer (Job Description)
Key Responsibilities

Test Planning & Execution:
Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on project requirements.

Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Automation:
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).

Integrate automation tests into the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.

Bug Identification & Reporting:
Identify, report, and track software defects in bug-tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).

Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues, ensuring they are addressed in a timely manner.

Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams (development, product management, UX/UI) to ensure test coverage is complete and functional requirements are met.

Participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies to understand project requirements and timelines.

Performance & Load Testing:




Conduct performance and load testing to assess software behavior under stress and identify potential bottlenecks.

Documentation:
Document test results and create transparent and concise reports for stakeholders.

Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA team.

Continuous Learning:
Keep up to date with the latest testing tools, methodologies, and best practices.

Suggest improvements in test methodologies and tools to increase the quality and speed of testing.
