Job Title: Supply Planning Executive - Haldia Factory, Unilever
Function: Supply Chain - Make
Reporting to: Factory Supply Chain Manager
Job Purpose:
To ensure effective supply planning and inventory management for the Pondicherry factory, aligning production schedules with demand forecasts, optimizing stock levels, and supporting seamless operations across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain supply plans based on demand forecasts, production capacity, and inventory targets.
- Collaborate with factory teams, procurement, and central planning to ensure timely availability of raw and packaging materials.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid stock-outs or excess inventory.
- Coordinate with logistics and warehousing teams for efficient material movement and storage.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify risks,
bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
- Support S&OP; (Sales & Operations Planning) processes with accurate supply inputs.
- Ensure compliance with HUL’s safety, quality, and sustainability standards.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in supply planning or factory operations, preferably in FMCG.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in SAP/APO or other planning tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional workplace.
