We are looking for a detail-oriented Draftsman responsible for conducting site visits, taking accurate measurements of residential/commercial spaces, and preparing precise as-built AutoCAD drawings. The role requires strong practical understanding of on-site conditions and the ability to translate real site dimensions into explicit technical drawings for design and execution teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit project sites to take complete and accurate measurements of all areas (rooms, walls, openings, levels, services, etc.)
- Prepare detailed as-built AutoCAD drawings based on site measurements
- Capture and document site conditions, structural elements, beams, columns, and services
- Verify dimensions with site realities before finalizing drawings
- Update drawings as per site changes or revisions
- Coordinate with architects, designers, and execution team for clarity
- Maintain organized drawing records and measurement sheets
- Ensure drawings are practical and execution-ready
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting):
- Solid site measurement and dimensional accuracy skills
- Understanding of architectural/interior layouts
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Attention to detail and practical site sense
- Basic knowledge of furniture layouts, civil elements, and services
Qualification
- ITI Draftsman / Diploma in Civil / Architecture Assistantship / Interior Drafting
- 1-3 years experience in architectural/interior drafting preferred
- Freshers with robust AutoCAD + site measurement ability may be considered
