Good knowledge of engineering materials such as
- Mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation items
- Fasteners, pipes, valves, bearings, cables, consumables, etc.
- Ability to read basic engineering drawings and material specifications
- Familiarity with inventory control practices and material coding
- Valuable organizational and record-keeping skills
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word, tally)
