Job Title: Planning Executive

Department: Production / PPC (Production Planning & Control)
Reports To: PPC Manager / Plant Head

Job Purpose

To plan, schedule, and coordinate production activities in a corrugation manufacturing unit to ensure timely delivery, optimum machine utilization, raw material availability, and mínimal wastage.

Key Responsibilities

1 Production Planning
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
- Plan machine-wise scheduling (Corrugator, Printer Slotter, Die Cutter, Folder Gluer).
- Optimize flute changeovers and paper GSM combinations.
- Balance load between machines to reduce bottlenecks.
- Plan based on sales orders, forecast, and delivery commitments.

2 Order Processing & Coordination
- Convert sales orders into production orders.
- Coordinate with Sales for delivery priorities.
- Liaise with Design & QA for recent box development.
- Ensure customer specifications (ply, bursting strength, flute type, printing) are correctly planned.

3 Raw Material Planning
- Calculate paper requirement (BF/GSM-wise).
- Plan procurement of kraft paper, starch,



gum, ink, stitching wire, etc.
- Monitor paper inventory and avoid stock-outs.
- Coordinate with Stores & Purchase department.

4 Inventory & WIP Control
- Track WIP (Work in Progress).
- Monitor finished goods stock.
- Control excess production and overstocking.
- Ensure FIFO compliance for paper reels.

5 Production Monitoring
- Track daily production vs plan.
- Monitor wastage percentage (paper waste, board rejection).
- Improve machine utilization.
- Maintain MIS reports.

6 Data & Reporting
- Prepare daily production report.
- Maintain order status report.
- Analyze variance (Plan vs Actual).
- Maintain production efficiency reports.
- Use ERP/MIS software for tracking.

7 Coordination with Departments
