Key Responsibilities
- Pipeline Development: Assist in building and maintaining data integration solutions and ETL processes using Databricks and Apache Spark.
- Data Transformation: Write efficient SQL and Python scripts to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses/data lakes.
- Support & Maintenance: Monitor existing workflows, identify performance bottlenecks, and assist in troubleshooting data quality issues.
- Testing & Quality: Perform unit testing and validation to ensure data integrity throughout the lifecycle.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior developers and cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver efficient solutions.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on Databricks features (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog) and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Databricks.(mandatory)
- Positive knowledge of any ETL tool (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS).(mandatory)
- Well-versed in data warehousing and data lake concepts.
- Proficient in SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)and their data services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills (Bonus)
- Certifications: Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark.
- Big Data Tech: Familiarity with Delta Lake features (ACID transactions, Time Travel)
