The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for collecting patient samples, performing routine laboratory tests, maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring accurate reporting while following safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect blood, urine, and other samples following standard procedures
- Perform routine lab tests and assist in specialized tests as required
- Ensure proper labeling, handling, and storage of samples
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in the laboratory
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
- Record test results accurately and maintain lab documentation
- Follow NABL, safety, and infection control guidelines
- Coordinate with doctors and front office for timely reports
- Valid registration (if applicable)
- 1-3 years of experience in a clinic, hospital, or diagnostic lab preferred
- Freshers may be considered based on skills and training
