The PRT Science Teacher is responsible for teaching basic science concepts to primary classes (Grades I-V), fostering curiosity, observation skills, and a love for learning through age-appropriate, activity-based instruction.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Environmental Studies/Science to primary classes as per the prescribed curriculum
- Plan and deliver engaging, interactive, and experiential lessons
- Use teaching aids, experiments, models, and digital tools effectively
- Assess student learning through worksheets, projects, tests, and observations
- Maintain records of attendance, assessments, and student progress
- Encourage scientific thinking, questioning, and problem-solving skills
- Ensure classroom discipline and a secure learning environment
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress
- Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and training programs
