Project Execution & Management
- Plan, execute, and monitor OPGW stringing, sagging, splicing, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Manage multiple transmission line packages within the zone.
- Ensure adherence to approved drawings, technical specifications, and project schedules.

Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with Power Utilities (PGCIL / State Transcos / DISCOMs) for shutdowns, permits, and site access.
- Liaise with EPC contractors, OEMs, and subcontractors.
- Act as the single point of contact for zone-level project issues.

Safety & Quality
- Enforce EHS standards during live line and shutdown works.
- Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures, inspection plans, and test protocols (OTDR, splice loss, attenuation).
- Conduct regular site audits and safety reviews.

Planning & Resource Management




- Allocate manpower, machinery, and materials effectively across sites.
- Review DPRs, progress reports, and billing quantities.
- Monitor productivity and resolve site constraints proactively.

Commercial & Reporting
- Track project costs, variations, and claims at zone level.
- Validate contractor bills and measurements.
- Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports for management and clients.

Risk & Issue Management
- Identify project risks (ROW, shutdown delays, terrain, weather).
- Implement mitigation plans to avoid schedule slippages.
- Handle escalations and critical issues within the zone.
